Our website is here for you to access & order our carved signs online.

How it Works

If you can dream it, we can make it! Our professional carvers have spent years perfecting their craft. They strive to capture just the right feeling with each hand carved custom sign. Our step-by-step order form allows you to help us create that perfect sign. The order form is just a guideline. You can choose "Custom" at any point and a carver will contact you for more information. Let's begin your order:

Step 1

Size & Shape

Standard orders are approximately 2 feet long by your desired width. The drop down box provides most popular widths and shapes.

Step 2

From soft curves to straight lines, the possibilities are numerous. Painted, unpainted and raw bark are all available through drop box selection.

Step 3

We have three standard font styles: Western, script and block. If something different is desired, please proceed to "Custom" order form and we will be happy to assist you with more selections.

Step 4

Whether it's your family name, the business you are so proud of, an inspirational quote or an inside joke, this is where you let us know what your sign will read. (Restriction of letters is not usually a concern. We will contact you should it be.)

PLEASE...check spelling/grammar as we will carve as submitted.

Step 5

A picture says a thousand words. The drop box contains a few of our most popular images that may help bring your sign to life. Don't see the perfect image, select "Custom" and a carver will contact you.

Step 6

Additional Info

Tell us the story that inspired the sign. Choose your own carver and feel free to ask questions. This last box is for you to communicate with us any additional information you wish to provide us.

*Please Note:
Each sign is created based on information provided. Our carvers may make small artistic adjustments based on material and layout.
We are confident you will love your custom hand carved sign.

  • Wesley Murphy

Hello I'm Wesley Murphy and I carve signs for signcarver.com. I spend the summer season carving signs in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Operating a few miles from Mount Rushmore I get to enjoy many beautiful sights while doing one of the things I that i enjoy most, carving signs. On my days off I like to head out on my dirt bike, exploring trails that lead to amazing vistas unseen by most of those that visit our little mountain towns. During the off season I spend my time exploring the Sierra Nevada mountains and visiting my family on the central coast of California. I look forward to making you a beautiful piece of art that you and your's will enjoy for decades.

  • Chris Schneider

Hello, my name is Chris Schneider. I do Carved Signs along the national fair circuit mostly. Taking long walks on the beach with my family as a child I started with drift wood and my dad's pocket knife. Building my whittling skills over the years I was introduced to the team at Carved Signs. After an invite to learn and prefect my skills it is now ten years later. I would love and look forward to carving a beautiful piece of art that will last you and your family years to come. Thank you for being a patron of our fine business.
